Located in historic Boston, the US office sales office
serves our clientele directly. Our office hours are from 9am –
6pm (EST), Monday – Friday. If you’re interested in booking
a trip or in learning more about the trip options available to you,
our travel planners can talk to you about every detail of our itineraries,
from why specific hotels are recommended to the routes we travel and
what combination would suit your preferences best.
Scott
Gauvin, Director - US Operations
Scott's extensive travel background includes backpacking and hitchhiking
across Europe, working as a raft guide in Maine and studying Spanish
in Mexico. But his most personally significant trip to date, is still
the motorcycle journey he took from his native Boston to Turrialba,
Costa Rica. Upon arrival in Turrialba, Scott
spent some time guiding on the Pacuare and Reventazon and eventually
crossed paths with International Adventures Unlimited’s then operations
manager (now Director of CR Operations).
The rest is IAU
history. Scott draws on his business consultant background and oversees
our company's development from the US office in Boston, Massachusetts.
Judith
Mendoza – Director of Sales and Marketing
Judith is an ardent traveler herself and wanderlust has lead her to
Europe for study and diversion, and throughout North, Central and South
America. Little did she know, when she first arrived in Costa Rica,
that her visit would last nearly 2 years longer than she intended. She
creates and implements the company’s marketing strategies, promotions
and public relations efforts and directs US sales efforts from her office
in Boston.
